Letter, 1833.

Handwritten letter, dated 8 Oct. 1833, and addressed to "Richard." The item was signed "Eleazar Wright" by which McNemar was apparently signing letters at this time. The name Eleazar was given to him by Lucy Wright and the name Wright was taken as a tribute to her. McNemar writes to his son as a "spiritual" rather than as a natural father and discusses religious matters.
